Mother's Day

So today is my 21st Mother's Day. It is amazing to me to realize that I've been a mom that long. Sarah was 8 when Keith and I married. There was never any doubt in my mind that she was mine. It makes for an interesting conversation when I introduce her as my daughter. I can see the math wheels turning in their heads, trying to calculate how old I was when she was born! It's great.

Thank goodness she came first, because to the boy (Alex) Mom is not a big deal. I think I'll still love him anyway. One day he may actually realize how awesome I really am! He is my joy and it is amazing to see him grow and mature each day. I can't wait to see what an incredible man he will be.
