And I WILL Praise God In the Midst

Over the course of the past few weeks, I have had ample opportunity to ask, "What to non-believers do when their world is shaken?"

I have a very good friend who was involved in a car wreck with her husband, son and future daughter-in-law. What should have been tragic is miraculous. While her husband incurred the most extensive injuries, they are all alive and well due to the incredible hand of the LORD. The LORD'S hand was upon them.

I have another friend who was shot when he interrupted a robbery on his property.  Not only will he survive, but he was able to describe the men, the car and give a partial license plate! The LORD'S hand was upon him.

There is another young woman fighting cancer again and where many would surrender to depression and defeat, she is praising and glorifying the LORD. The LORD'S hand IS upon her.You can follow her story here: http://www.pleasantliving.org/

ISAIAH 43: 1 - 3
But now, O Israel, the LORD who created you says: "Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by my name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I AM the LORD, your GOD, the HOLY ONE of ISRAEL, your SAVIOR..."

We as believers should lean heavily upon our LORD and SAVIOR. HE alone is our ROCK, our FORTRESS, our STRONG DELIVERER. How awesome it has been the past few weeks to see God's hand at work in the lives of these 3 and many others that surround me.

Would you join with me and offer a prayer of thanksgiving to the LORD for these wonderful people: (Carolyn & Randy, David, and Lindsey)? They are God's light shining in a dark world and challenge me to shine brighter and be increasing thankful.
